Most browsers have options to override specified font sizes and colours, substituting your own preferred settings.

To do this in Internet Explorer 6 for example, select Tools/Internet Options.../Accessibility... and specify your preference (dialogue illustrated below). The browser will then substitute your own preferred settings.

To change your preferred browser settings, select Tools/Internet Options.../Fonts... or Tools/Internet Options.../Colors... and make your changes.

Windows XP has a built-in magnifier tool. To turn on the magnifier, select Start/All Programs/Accessories/Accessibility/Magnifier and choose from the available settings.

You can minimize the magnifier dialogue by clicking the Minimize button. To exit the magnifier, click Exit.
